Guji collab x Jolly Bean Roastery & Beernomicon

Earlier this year we were approached by Tom from the Beernomincon Podcast to take part in a three way collaboration with with local coffee roasters Jolly Bean Roastery.

As part of Beernomicon’s “Cvlt of Independence” project, we were introduced to local coffee roaster Joel, who’s Jolly Bean Roastery is based down the road from the Beer Factory, on Saltaire’s historic main street.

Joel and Tom met with head brewer Colin to cook up the perfect combination of Ethiopian Bookkisa coffee and a hoppy, fruity IPA.

The result was Guji, an IPA which manages to balance the notes of stewed fruit, banana, blueberry and maple from the coffee blend, with tropical aromas from the hop bill and biscuit notes from the malt.

We’re really pleased with how the collaboration turned out and can’t wait to share it with you guys!

Guji is available to buy in cans from our webshop now, and pouring on the bar this weekend at Salt Bar & Kitchen, Craft Asylum 1, Craft Asylum 2 and the Hop York.
