Shipping policy

UPDATE - Shipping schedule changes effective from 1st April 2026.

  • Please be aware that from 1st April 2026, we will only be dispatching orders on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • We will no longer be offering a Next Working Day service however all orders will be shipped using a 24 hour service as standard. 
  • Orders must be placed by 12pm on Tuesdays or Thursdays to guarantee same day dispatch. 
  • Delivery fees still apply.

 

UPDATE - Easter Bank Holiday 2026 Delivery Guarantee

  • Order by midnight (23:59PM BST) on Sunday 29th March 2026 for guaranteed delivery in time for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. 
  • Orders placed after this time will continue to be dispatched as normal however may not arrive before Friday 3rd April (Good Friday).
  • Our business will be closed between Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April 2026.
  • Normal shipping services resumes from Tuesday 7th April in line with our new shipping schedule stated above.

 

Legal Disclaimer: Age Restrictions

You must be aged 18 or older to buy alcohol in the UK. By placing an order with us online at saltbeerfactory.co.uk, you are confirming that you are of the minimum legal age to buy alcohol. It is an offence to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in the UK.

All deliveries must be signed for by a person aged 18 or older. Our courier partners may request valid proof of age/identification at the point of delivery. If for any reason, the delivery driver is in doubt that the recipient is aged 18 or older, they reserve the right to refuse delivery and your order will be subsequently returned, cancelled, and refunded.

  • FREE on all orders over £150
  • £7.99 shipping fee applies to orders below £149.99
  • Orders will only be dispatched on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
  • Orders must be placed by 12pm on Tuesdays or Thursdays to guarantee same day dispatch. 
  • All orders will be dispatched using a standard 24hr service however next day delivery is not guaranteed and delivery may take up to 3-5 working days from the date of dispatch.
  • Please place your order(s) in advance if you require the item(s) for a certain date.
  • This service is only available to mainland UK postcodes including England, Scotland and Wales.

Shipping FAQ’s

  • All products will be shipped via a standard 3rd party courier service unless another shipping method has been selected at checkout.
  • All shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.
  • Delivery times may vary depending on the order quantity, shipping address, time/date of purchase and the shipping method selected.
  • If your item(s) is on pre-order, please be advised that the release date is estimated and may be subject to change. We will contact you if there are any delays to pre-ordered items. If you ordered other items along with a pre-order item, please be aware that everything will be dispatched together once the whole order can be fulfilled. We do not offer part-shipments. 
  • Orders will be processed and dispatched on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Orders placed before 12pm on Tuesday and Thursday will be dispatched on the same day. 
  • All orders will be dispatched using a standard 24hr service however we do not offer or guarantee Next Day Delivery / Next Working Day / Express Delivery, and deliveries may take up to 3-5 working days from the date of dispatch.
  • Deliveries will take place Monday - Friday only. It is at the sole discretion of the couriers if they wish to attempt weekend delivery.
  • You will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your parcel ID / tracking number once your order(s) has been processed from our warehouse. Please allow up to 24 hours for the live tracking details to update.
  • Once your order leaves our premises, it is in the hands of our 3rd party couriers and unfortunately deliveries may be delayed due to external factors such as bad weather, road traffic accidents, congestion etc. We will not accept responsibility or provide any compensation for any delivery delays once your item has been dispatched, unless an expedited delivery service has been selected/paid for at checkout.
  • Multi-case orders or bundles may be shipped separately and are not guaranteed to be delivered at the same time/on the same date.
  • Where an express service has been selected/paid for at checkout and the service has not been fulfilled for whatever reason, we will issue a partial refund of the difference between the price of a standard service vs an express service.
  • If for any reason we are not able to fulfil your whole order, we will cancel those items on your order and issue a refund for the missing items.
  • Please note. all our orders are packed in branded boxes. If your order is a gift, we would recommend selecting an alternative shipping address to avoid ruining the element of surprise!
  • We will not accept responsibility for delivery failure if you provide an incorrect address, post code or contact telephone number when placing your order. If delivery cannot be made by the courier for these reasons and the order is returned to sender, we reserve the right to issue a refund minus the return shipping fee, or alternatively invoice the customer for an extra shipping fee should they prefer to have a replacement order shipped.
